It's fantastic what the parents have done donating their sons organs that can save up to 8 People and should be recognised. The laws in the UK have been relaxed now and donor families can meet the recipients of the donation. As a 2 time kidney transplant recipient myself i believe this can help with the grieving process from the donor family side and also for rehabilitation for the recipient as the recovery from transplantation is a long one. Since receiving my 2nd transplant i have set up a award winning sports event company dedicated to helping patients recover after transplantation as well as setting up the worlds 1st Football Association Transplant football team playing it's 3rd season in a recognised UK league. Without the gift of life i would never been able to achieve so much in such a short time helping other transplant patients recovery and inspiring dialysis patients that there is a future.
